Comforter’s Empowerment Initiative Nigeria started the GF NFM intervention for key population – People Who Inject Drugs (PWID) in Anambra State since October 2015. In 2016, we have been able to cover seven (6) L.G.As (Nnewi North, Ihiala, Onitsha South, Idemili North, Awka South, Awka North in the state. 36 PEs, 11 ORWs and 166 peers have been reached with MPPI (Minimum Preventive Package Intervention).  And this intervention created so much positive impacts in the lives of the community members on how to stay safe, save lives and advocate for paralegal services in the lives of the community members.

CEIN was able to follow up the implementing strategy using dialogue-based approach, problem-solving approach, Peer-led strategic approach whereby the community members decision is highly respected in the decision making especially in the best ways to reach out to the community members which their opinions are highly respected.
